Unlike most rose Champagne, the basis of Laurent-Perrier Cuvee Rose Brut is obtained by drawing the juice from

No oak is used in this style of Chardonnay. Aromas of green apple, with some honeysuckle notes particularly
characteristic of this high-altitude valley. The palate is light to medium-bodied, offering fresh apple/citrus flavours

For five centuries, the Mellot dynasty have run this estate bordering Sancerre. The tiny Clos de Pressoir
vineyard has just 4 hectares of Sauvignon vines and benefits from a similar, fossil-rich soil. The resulting
wine is herbaceous with grapefruit notes and a creamy, crushed seashell minerality. Think lemon meringue pie!

Another wonderful creation by Michiel Eradus. His skill in the vineyard and with blending is undoubted. This
particular Riesling, named after his dog, is just delicious…refreshing, served very chilled, it is perfect with seafood,
spicy food or simply as an aperitif.

A lovely wine from an award winning estate that has been established for over 650 years. Good with asparagus

Pale and aromatic. Quite scented, with lots of fruit and great delicacy. A nice powerful finish, produced using
bio dynamic principles.
39Riesling Erbacher Marcobrunn Kabinett Schloss Schonborn 2011, Germany £45.50
91 points Wine Spectator. Schloss Schonborn is one of Germany’s oldest estates and can be traced back to the
times of the crusades in 1349. The estate is still family owned today. A nose of mineral, spice and herbs tempered
with a warm rich earthy character.

The quality of this fine Chenin Blanc can be attributed to access to some of the most remarkable old vineyards
in the premium wine growing area of Stellenbosch. Hints of blossom, ripe appleand melon fruits overlayinga
minerally core, leading to a fine long finish.

Located 60 kilometres north of Strasbourg, Cave de Cleebourg's vineyards are located in the Northern

A dry, steely white wine. The “Sur Lie” tradition involves the wine being bottled while still in contact
with the sediment. This keeps the wine fresh and gives it a slight fizz and yeasty roundness. Flavours

Some would say the best Aligote made in Burgundy. It is made by the owner of Domaine Romanee-Conti.
The other grape to Chardonnay in White Burgundy and when done well, as here, very good.

This curious cousin of Pinot Blanc is known as Auxerrois specifically in Cleebourg, Northern Alsace.
With smaller yields than its more famous relative, light-bodied and fruity with notes of fresh herbs on the finish.

Lovely Cabernet Sauvignon wine with touch of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. This wine shows notes of
Raspberries and blackcurrant, as well as black pepper and laurel. Lovely minerality on the finish. A wine to be
drunk in its youth.

A fine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Profound blackberry aromas and spicy notes,
combined with toasty, subtly oaky notes that gradually emerge. Creamy roundness is the predominating impression
on the palate, with tannins and silky, delicate fruit that aptly reflect the quality of this terroir. The finish is
long-lasting and intensely aromatic.

Bodega Ruca Malen is a small winery in Mendoza started in 1999, with the aim to produce quality wines
organically. This has a fabulous concentration of dark cherry fruit layered with a creamed richness. A heady dash
of spice makes for effortless enjoyment.

Unoaked, unfiltered blend of particularly satisfying Syrah, with Grenache that again has great drive and energy
threaded through seductive fruit. Syrah and Grenache in perfect harmony.
87 Shiraz Cabernet Double Trouble Barossa Boy 2016, Australia £52.00
This is made with old vine 35-40 year old fruit, in the Barossa Valley. It is picked ripe and nestles in the best
French oak for 18 months. Dense and creamy with a heart of black fruits, liquorice and Belgium chocolate, with
plenty of savoury notes adding to the long, dry finish.

Only limited amounts of this wine are produced annually at this highly regarded vineyard. Raspberry,
blackberry, with a gentle tobacco quality adding complexity. No rough edges with this wine.

Nelson Estate is situated in the Agter-Paarl region of South Africa - an area well known for its high quality wines.
